Getting connected, and what to do when something isn't right.

Getting started
  1. Switch on your DCC-EX command station.
  2. Join its WiFi on your phone, or the WiFi it's connected to.
  3. In Cab Control, open Connect. Enter the address shown on the command station (often 192.168.4.1) and port 2560.
  4. Press Connect, then Track power, and drive.

No layout to hand? Press Practice mode on Connect.

Won't connect?
  1. Check the command station is on and its display shows an IP address.
  2. Make sure the phone is on the same WiFi, not a guest network.
  3. Check the address matches, and the port is 2560.
  4. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Cab Control on.
  5. Still stuck? Restart the command station and try again.
