Cab Control does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and it doesn't track you.

What stays on your phone

Your roster, saved command stations and settings are kept only on your phone or tablet. They never leave it unless you choose to save a backup or share something yourself.

What the app connects to

Cab Control talks only to your own DCC-EX command station, over your own WiFi. It needs the Local Network permission to do that. It doesn't connect to any server run by us or anyone else.

Things you choose to share

Backups, loco and command station share links, printed cards, exports and Send report are created only when you ask, and go wherever you send them, using your phone's own share options. A report includes the app version, recent commands and your settings so a problem can be put right. Command station addresses are left out unless you tick to include them.

Watches

The Apple Watch and Wear OS apps talk only to Cab Control on your own phone.
